Introducing Washi Tapes (Decorative Paper Tapes)

Hello Buddies,

Hope everyone in the crafting world is brimming with creativity… I have been a silent spy of all your blogs but sorry have missed commenting on your beautiful creations.

Today I have some "Awesum news" to share with everyone…I was introduced to this brilliant product "Washi tape" some time back, through a mail swap and oh my its definitely got me hooked to it…
For the benefit of my dear friends who aren't aware of this amazing product, I thought I’d give you an overview of just what it is and perhaps you might want to try it. For starters, “Washi Tape” comes from Japan, is a paper tape that comes in pretty colors and patterns. It comes on a roll like regular sticky tape, and is often translucent. You can find it in 1/4 widths up to 2 1/2 inches, and it feels more like masking tape than true “paper.” Since hitting the crafting world by storm, many major scrapbooking companies have come out with their own versions.

The cards below randomly picked from google are an example of what can be done with these beautiful paper tapes. There are several uses to this amazing tape, you can jazz up a plain wrapping paper, add some tape to your plain journal or a gift envelope or make quick cards. The creative uses are endless…

"Now to the Awesum News"
I am proud to announce that I will be the first in India to introduce “Washi Tapes to you on my craft lounge”… Yes Yes you heard me right…These tapes will now be available for sale….
